La Chaumière Montignac

After a rather cold and unpleasant welcome, the waitress (which I think is the boss) found herself, but especially nice surprise at the level of dishes, homemade fries, tender beefs, even for burger. Small dessert dish, 2 choices only for the menu at 16,50 € but very good (small cream or floating island) nougat iced for the menu at 21,50 €. For the price we ate very well, but I'm not surprised by the negative opinions of previous comments.

A good restaurant, with a small table, and where you feel like home. Very nice waitress. Let's take the menu at 23 euros. Entrance , dish ,dessert . Mouth with homemade tapnade, with olive oil, with a small wine of nuts, followed by a Perigourdine salad, and a good cassoulet. For dessert a walnut marrow, and for me an ice duo, rum grapes and pistachio! I recommend that the eyes close this good little restaurant!

Choose from his note, we ate very well. There are not many blankets, so you have to think about the reservation. The reception is very pleasant and the dishes are of quality and copied. We took the thigh of duck, very well accompanied by a purée of potatoes and a salad and our son was tempted by the simply delicious tartiflette! The desserts are just as good. Very good value for money. I highly recommend!

This restaurant, guided by its note, deserves a visit to Montignac. Beautiful setting, restaurant of about 20 tables, you better book in advance. The manager is welcoming. Put in the mouth with a tapnade plate and bread crusts. On the map, the dishes of the region are very good and very good! for reasonable prices. For children, ask for an average dish. To discover! We have dinner Friday night. Very good reception, we took a confit. Excellent meat well grilled. The accompaniment is hearty and delicious. For dessert of huge and succulent ice. If we go back to Montignac we'll go back. If you pass through Montignac. La Chaumière is a restaurant of choice. Thanks for having fun.

Family and friendly restaurant. We eat local products of good quality, prepared with care. Even if their specialties are rather winter dishes, it is quite simple to find alternative à la carte for the hottest days. We'll go back with pleasure.

Direct products of the exceptional producer the couple that holds this restaurant is super nice I recommend instead it better book if you want to treat it
