Hard to find even with a good GPS. We go back to the old road from Biriatou to Urrugne. Avoid the highway! the place is a typical Basque host table. You enter, you sit close to the one who arrived before you. No choice! and... the magical effect begins: you have to turn to your neighbor. And last week we enjoyed a dinner with a wonderful Scottish couple! But do not forget the quality of the table: Traditional, authentic, house made, fresh made! The cedar is produced there. You must taste it Raw and true like the people of this wonderful country. Family owners always try the best for the quality of food and service. You will always enjoy!
a map and 4 menus of about 19 to 29 € (in the evening). Very good sangria (15€ the pichet for about 9 good glasses). The best omelettes (from the world)! be it in ham, chili peppers or ceps: copiers and provided (in menus or à la carte between 6 and 10€). Grilled meat with wood fire.Even beef for 2 with fries and excellent salad (in the menu at 29€ or 40€ à la carte).Frame or merlu in Spanish also excellent for 2 with potatoes (in the menu at 29€ or 34€ à la carte). Classic desserts at 5 € on average (the caramel flan at 4€ lacks a little taste).
We arrived a very big evening, all the rooms were full. In front of our insisting requests, however, we were welcomed despite the late hour and installed outside, where we were very well! despite our fears (due to the considerable number of clients of two concompittant banquets) we were served with kindness, attention and speed. excellent house ham, marvellous merlus grilled garlic, very good rosé de navarre, in a word, quality, quantity, humanity, what more??? a light note and that was the case!
This place is hard to find on a road l in the Basque country side, near the Spanish border (we came on advice from a friend and had a pretty hard time to find the place). What we found was a truly authentic cedar house, with mostly locals sitting at the long tables, drinking their cedar and enjoying the excellent cuisine. And prices are also very reasonable, especially given the quality of food. Very recommended!

a restaurant by the national and you will find yourself in a typical place held by a family respectful of traditions and good taste. nothing to say about the quality of the dishes and the service. a ratio of price implacable. haaaa ... if there was a terrace with views of the rhune!
If you like to eat fresh, tasteful products and have good appetite, you must rush it. The boss is adorable, the impeccable service without chichi.One of my favorite addresses when I come to hendaye. the merlu to share is delicious and pantagrulic desserts
The room is very simple, the dishes too. We have been regaled with a beef and cep omelettes. a place of passage in order to taste the terroir. reception is at the Basque, simple and effective. we don't hesitate to book in advance in full season
family restaurant, generous cuisine with homemade fries and salad. solo flat or to share. Very copyy. Very nice boss. affordable prices. If I go back to hendaye, I'll be back ate. go to the closed eyes
