La Cigueena - Reservar una mesa

hemos venido a este hotel desde 1999, no todos los años, pero muy regular para covid; esta visita fue nuestro tercer turno. primero no había suficientes invitados para poner en el buffet habitual de la noche, así que pudimos tener lugar en los menús...a la carta, ya que este es un restaurante público y para los residentes. esta vez la paleta de alimentos se ha expandido drásticamente, ya que el restaurante chino cercano está permanentemente cerrado y el chef se ha unido al equipo de cocina en la ciguenya. la calidad de los alimentos fue excelente; también hay un menú tailandés, así como decisiones tradicionales españolas e internacionales. el menú de pizza, siempre un favorito, es extenso y pueden elegir entre corteza más fina o más gruesa para lo básico. el restaurante es utilizado por los locales y turistas que se quedan en otro lugar. los camareros / personal de bar eran hermosos; Natalie y Kendy son muy amables y estaban felices de ayudarme con mi recién aprendido español.

We were staying at La Ciguena and dined on two evenings. On each occasion the menu was varied and reasonably priced. Service was prompt and polite we chose the buffet menu and all courses were well stocked with fresh food although on the second...evening the dessert choices were limited with no ice cream available. A good pleasant atmosphere with choice of eating indoors or outdoors.

Was hoping to try some of the famous Spanish cuisine as I'd heard amazing reviews from last year about the seafood however, unfortunately, the limited menu of mainly pizzas (presumably due to COVID) meant that this wasn't possible. Regardless, the pizzas were stunning and the...paella was delicious for an incredibly reasonable price.

as always wonderful variety of foods every time, breakfast and dinner excellent, service fantastic. yolanda the chef has an amazing work in these times. our group was very satisfied with eating and service, and the way and wise how everything was presented.

Nothing special about this place. Our food was over-cooked (monkfish and crayfish kebab) which left it dry and chewy. The pizza we had was ok very rustic and handmade. Wouldn’t rush back here.
