Arrived in the pouring rain, didn’t mean to stay in Verdun, but driving conditions forced me. I’m sure it is a place well worth visiting, but it was just a stopover for me. Very French , basic hotel. Clean rooms and beds, nice and warm. It needs a lot of renovation, but has a certain charm. The owners were friendly, and helpful despite my lack of French.The breakfast was included, and really poor. I’ve never had bad French bread before! There is parking outside the hotel and easy access to shops and restaurants. Overall a good budget place to stay.
Hotel has the old very well located, has two steps of monument and dock of Londre, with lots of charm. It's true, not modern but personally I prefer. The very warm welcome, the very friendly owners is a real folklore: very serious lady and her casual, ready to laugh ... Breakfast in the French sweet. I'll be back with pleasure.
