La Cocina Jalisciense is situated in a small shopping center at the bustling intersection of 95th and Kedzie in Evergreen Park. I’ve driven past it for years and finally decided to include it in my goal for the year to dine in and explore the menu. The menu features classic dishes such as tacos, taquitos, tortas, tostadas, fajitas, and quesadillas. My husband and I both opted for the steak taco dinner, and I’m glad we did because if their steak tacos were great, I figured the rest of the food would be as well—and I was right. I happened to be in the area and thought, why not find a taco joint? Well, let me tell you, I hit the jackpot with this place! My taco dinner was an absolute delight. The tacos? Utterly delicious. And the staff? they were just so nice! You can bet your bottom dollar that when I find myself in this neck of the woods again, I'll be making a beeline straight back here!

I was pleasantly surprised by the taste of this food! I am a Mexican food fan (don’t play games with my mole’ sauce). When I tell y'all I am sitting here full waiting on a to go box. The only thing I would change is please give me my drink in a glass not a plastic cup. I will be back!!

I just left this restaurant feeling extremely happy with my meal. The Chicken Burrito is exceptional—so delicious! The customer service was also outstanding. Dennis, one of the owners, is fantastic! He made sure I had everything I needed. I’ll definitely be returning! Reserva una mesa ahora

My family and I dine in here on most Sundays . It's a wonderful, family friendly establishment. When we call an order in they know who I am. The food is delicious!!!
