We were a group of all from a country where Spanish food is a cultural heritage looking for a dinner near our hotel. The service approach of our waiter was the used car salesman you-can-trust-me spiel he probably assumed we had no...idea about Spanish food. My mistake: I ignored the warning sign. We followed the suggestion and ordered the set course. Food came fast and it was this predictably forgettable level of food. Kind of the typical tourist trap food? Based on our experience, ok to go and eat fast. Let's also accept that they don't pretend to be what they are not and that the price is reasonablish but if you truly want a taste of Spain then do exercise caution.

We were visiting La Copita during the Medica exhibition for the year running, knowing how busy it gets we reserved. Table was ready for us, and we ate a few dishes, and waited to order more beer and dessert..... And we waited..... And we...waited. Then we were brought the bill, asking for dessert we were told no', so that was it.... End of the meal. Before we'd got our coats on, what appeared to be locals were sat at the table and waiters were chatting with them .... And all was clear why we were being rushed out.... Not sure we'll be back, food may have been good, but this left a poor taste....

Very authentic feeling (how authentic as a tourist can find in another country) restaurant with delicious food and fair prices. What I like about La Copita is that they have a very reliable taste and quality in their hot dishes as well as the absolute foundations such as tomato bread. We were countless times here and were never disappointed. Tip: Boquerones fritos is not the best if it is outside the season. but delicious during his season.

It was very busy. Rain, wind and cold. We got a table in the tent outside streetside which turned out fine and warm enough. Food is good, try the baked chicken tapa. Bit disappointed they charged euro for a glass of wine I took...two sips of and returned because I did not like it.

Excellent late night spot for tapas. The dishes are delicious and a good size. The menu is quite large and offers a wide selection of tapas to choose from. The Spanish salines and sardines were excellent!
