La Coppola - Reserva de mesa

We came on a Monday night to this great little restaurant which makes amazing wood fired pizza.The range of pizza offered are seriously good and the three we tried had deliciously crispy bases with mouth wateringly tasty toppings.We took our 6 year old son and asked for a smaller pizza for him and the chef obliged by making a small pizza for him which he devoured and said "this is the best pizza with the best service - we will come back won't we?"Our son said it all - we will be back!Just don't tell too many people how good this tiny restaurant is or we won't all fit in!

Redfern Street may not be the most glamorous spot for an outdoor meal, but the flavours at La Coppola more than deliver. This is delicious, unpretentious pizza without airs... rosso or bianco, it doesn't matter, because they have thought through their menu and created something special.There are a lot of mediocre pizza spots in and around Sydney that ~profess~ to be something more than they are. Not so La Coppola. It'll fit most budgets, you can BYO and the serving sizes are ample. My verdict: ::kisses fingers::

We stumbled across La Coppola last week when we were in Redfern with a few friends while the owner Steve was out the front chopping wood for the oven! It was a really authentic Sicilian pizzeria with heaps of variety, and a fun charismatic crew crew making them!I would highly recommend a visit (they also do take out)!PS. it got super busy there around 8pm!

We endorse a lot of reviews about the quality of pizza at La Coppola. It was delicious, fresh, and flavorful as was my Aperol Spritz. The panna cotta was delicious. It is a relatively small restaurant and we went without reservations and were fortunate to be seated as 30 minutes into our stay the tables were all full. So I would suggest calling ahead. while I haven't dined in the tiny shop front, I have ordered pizza from this new local spot. The pizza crust is well made, crisp crust with soft centre, and a tasty thin base. The ingredients are authentic, and taste fresh. Tomato base feels natural, and you can taste the individual ingredients, rather than a mixed mess. Highly recommended.

This was just down the road from where we were staying and the first time we tried it was very busy. Second time there was just one table left so we guessed it must be good. They do not sell wine but you can bring your own and there is a bottle shop close by. The pizzas were ready very quickly and were much enjoyed.

Had been planning to drop into this restaurant for some time, as the smell when you walk by is quite incredible. What I didn't expect is how great the atmosphere would be. Italian staff and everyone sitting around the big wooden table feels like family! As good as I expected.

We're Redfern locals and are so happy to have La Coppola in our area! Some of the best pizza in Sydney. There are a few chairs inside and out, plus it's BYO so you can bring a bottle of wine along. The service is great and Steve, the owner, is a legend. Reserva una mesa ahora

Best staff in Sydney. Best food ever tried in Sydney. They have special of the day so highly recommend it. Will definitely visit again. Amazing pizza. Great salad. Allow you to BYO. What more could one ask.

When you meet Italian expats at an Italian restaurant you know you've found a real gem. Tonight I had the pizza with prawns and tomatoes, was truly excellent.
