The second we went to the waitress had a terrible attitude. She was unhappy that there are 8 of us. When we started ordering, she demanded that we have ordered more in a very rude way, or she would ask us more! She didn't give us time to sit right and order. She was very loud and embarrassing. We would have ordered more, but their terrible attitude in this sub-standard restaurant has really set us down, so we have gone out. La Coquelle is the pot in which the fondue savoyarde is made. After going up to the aiguille du midi to a bare 30 degrees (it was warm) we stopped for lunch directly across the terminal of the téléphérique. The restaurant offers a wide variety...of local specialties. We settled for the basic fondue with a side salad. The fondue was very good but after eating on coquille with all the bread you are replete. They offer a “formule” with charcuterie and potatoes. I was glad not to have ordered it it would have been well too much. Other choice includes the raclette. For a very reasonable price we had a really enjoyable lunch. We had lunch at Le Coquelle and we would go back in a minute. My kids shared the beef fondue that you cook on the table in front of you and were wondering why they don 't have this delicious dish in the U.S. The staff...were very friendly and helpful with any translation we needed for the menu.

Rude waitress and terrible service. For a group of eight people, she was frustrated to put the table together, and she wanted everyone to order a meal. If not she will prepare a meal per person for her table. Terrible waitress hope she finds her Zen.
I'm very surprised at the comments! We were greeted with great respect and the waitresses were really very polite, we discussed and laughed with them! The kitchen was succulent, personally I recommend, for a nice little break:
Very good restaurant, we eat well and meals are hearty. Very well welcomed and very beautiful waitress. The restaurant is better located because just in front of the cable car that leaves on the noon needle. I recommend.
