We are big fans and regular visitors to the La Corona and were once again lucky to get a table in our Ansbach favorite place just before the summer break. The evening could not have been more dreamy again! What the couple Gerg conjures up with their changing theme cards on the plate is simply sensational! The fact that dishes are created and finally prepared with complete passion and devotion is to taste with every fork or spoon. Here is something for every taste! But not only the food convinces, but also the very accommodating service as well as the overwhelming wine-schnapps selection. This is truly unique in Ansbach and far beyond its borders. An era comes to an end - a quiet Servus to say goodbye: yesterday we enjoyed “La Corona at its best. To mention that one would rather have tasted the whole menu. We concentrated on the incomparable homemade Tagliolini with truffles from Alba and the fine Vitello al tartufo bianco, accompanied by the matching Grauburgunder. Then followed delicate Filet de bœuf au poivre and perfect Guancia di manzo al vino brûlé, accompanied by the Blue Franconian family of the Tesch family. To the crowning conclusion, we decided on the Elisenlebkuchen Chocolate Trifle with Sicilian orange fillets, accompanied by a Mandarinen snack. Very friendly and competent staff, first-class food that is always worth a trip. Very nice ambience, very clean. There is a huge selection of wines. The menu is changed monthly and it is always something special. The prices performance is very good, but it still requires at least 20 euros to 35 euros for a main dish.
