La Creperie Du Palais

Don’t let the main door frighten you: there is more room inside than one could expect from the narrowish street. Good background music, interesting photos and decoration on the walls. I simply took the main and dessert “Specials of the day” crepes, copious in content, nicely presented, quickly served. A good satisfying lunch for a very reasonable price.

We went with relatives and mixed needs ....including 1 vegetarian and 1 fish eater but no meat. We found something for everyone. I had the salmon crepe and it was lovely. The vegetarian enjoyed his vegetarian meal so much that he shouted us there again a couple of nights later. As it was hot we ate outside near the quay. Food and service were good.

The boss is a virtuoso in terms of pancakes and cakes. The server is all in restraint, phlegmatic. the meal to an unbeatable value. You'd better ask for the path if your primary needs are urgent. valentine is my favorite dessert.
