La Creusille - Reserva de mesa

We dined here on the first night of our five-night stay in Blois. It's across the river from the main part of town and (presumably) away from where most tourists tend to gravitate to for dining). On the night we were there, there were a few tables that looked like tourists but most looked like locals. I mention this because if a restaurant isn't catering to tourists, they HAVE to be good or else they will go out of business. La Creusille was MORE than good and (just as important), they didn't treat us like tourists! The setting, just off of the Loire, was beautiful and comfortable (important as France was suffering a bad heat wave but as soon as the sun went down, there was a nice breeze off...

Last year we discovered this delightful restaurant and sat outside in the courtyard. This year the temperature forced us indoors which was a treat.The same charming Maitre D' looked after our every need. The restaurant was full to capacity with local discerning French clientele and families.Our three course mouth watering lunch was truly delicious. It was well worth making a detour to lunch at La Creusille as last years experience was so memorable and once again we were well looked after in every aspect. A big thank you to the Maitre D' and his staff.We will be making another detour next year to tantalize our taste buds in one of the best restaurants we have ever eaten in.

We found our way to this lovely restaurant after reading other reviews on Tripadvisor" .One reviewer stated that you would miss it if you weren't looking for it and this is true. Our lunch was delicious , beautifully presented, by very welcoming staff. We were early for lunch but it soon filled up both inside and out..We didn't go for the cheapest menu but we came away feeling we had had our moneysworth.We would go again if we return to hs area.

A really friendly host, whom welcomed us with a big smile. The restaurant is cosy but not verry nicely decorated, feels a bit 'old'. The food was o-kay but nog great, i had a nice dish with salmon but my girlfriend her dish was not so good, the meat was overcooked, the potatoes were heated in the microwave ( or so they tasted ). We stumbled upon this restaurant while looking for somewhere to have dinner. By far the best meal we've had while on our 6 week holiday! I had the crawfish ravioli which was out of this world delicious. The other meals were fabulous too! Service was excellent - would definitely go back again. Menu also had english translation which was a bonus.

Nice restaurant on the "rive gauche" of the Loire.Excellent quality of food, very good variety of dishes. Very helpful staff. Good, quiet atmosphere. Weather permitting, a table in the garden can be very appropriate for a romantic dinner. Not suitable for people on a tight budget. Would recommend it wholeheartedly to anyone who can afford it.

Had a perfect lunch with my wife and our little boys. Everything tasted and looked great and very reasonably priced. We sat outdoors. On arrival still quiet, but it very quickly filled up with lots of locals. It is a bit hidden, but well worth it!

Quite simply as an expat living in France and working in UK this has to be a very special find ......Great service; good food, great setting. ..no pretence or star **** just honest and very good repas. A Treat to savour. Reserva una mesa ahora

Close to the riverside in beautiful Blois, We opted to go for 2 menus, which had a competitive price of 26€ and 37€. Food was great and service really good!

Really nice place. Excellent service. Delicious food. It's not the cheapest restaurant in town, but it is totally worth it.
