I took my wife, mother and kids to this restaurant as a Mother's Day celebration. We waited over one hour for our mains and was served a particularly poor entree very small dish of particularly small prawns (4) in a hot pot for $21.50!! No value whatsoever. The mains finally arrived after one hour wait with no apologies for the delay. The food was extremely loaded with salt and I mean really loaded up to the point it was almost inedible. This restaurant was very under staffed considering it was pretty busy. Upon paying the bill I asked for the manager to give some feed back as we were disappointed with the food and the service. This was met with an arrogant defensive barrage from the manager...

We've been to La Cucina a few times now, as part of a largish group, as a couple and as a family, great cuisine on the regular menu and a brilliant mix of ever changing daily specials on the Board. Fresh, high quality ingredients excellently prepared and presented with an friendly, attentive but not overbearing team of host staff. Fully licensed or BYO bottled wine, with a bottle-o next door, great experience enjoy
Nine of us dined here Wednesday night when they have a fixed menu for $45.00 for three courses. This is great value. The food is very good. Arancini balls were excellent as was the veal. Calamari was tasty and plenty of it. Desserts were fantastic. Our only gripe is that they charge a corkage of $3.50. ? Per person. Service was great too. We will be back.

I have been to this restaurant several times with friends as well as family and never had cause to complain about staff or food. The menu is to die for, with a great variety for starters, main and deserts They have a special menu for groups of 10 and above which are a sensation. You can chose to sit outside or inside. A great night.
Have been on several occasions and always enjoyed the food. Had the $45.00/3 course special and it's well worth it. Was busy so my friends had to wait over an hour for their meals as they didn't have the special. My one complaint would be i sat against the southern wall and froze. The food was lovely. Staff very friendly.
Visited twice recently and very impressed. Great ambience, warm and cosy, good, friendly wait staff, speedy service. Garlic bread is best ever, seafood pot and steak both superb. My new favourite.
Good quality Italian food at a reasonable price with friendly service. Popular with locals and is usually crowded Friday and Saturday nights.
