small restaurant located at the main road easy accessible but easy to skip if you dont know that it exists! But now you know so don’t hesitate to come over for the best beef tartare in the town and other delicious dishes perfectly home made!...You can chat with friendly owner Alice , she is always there and cares that each of the guest deserves the best in her own created culinary paradise. I should also mention the staffs who work there they are extremely friendly and make your stay and experience fabulous!
we went to lunch when they opened. they sat in the round outside the sitting area, where cars are very close by. I immediately felt that we could not be their target customer group we ordered their signature burger called alice. it was a terrible mistake. very dry with huge overcooked bark. the service was mixed. you could speak English and was more customer-centric.
The waiter who received us seemed annoyed by our presence practically spitting in my face and was quite rude. When it came to food the zucchini flower starter was very good but the main courses of lake fish (unexpectedly fried) and mezzo pacchero pasta was simply ok and way over priced for the overall experience.
Last night my husband took me to dinner at this intimate restaurant located in front of the lake in Lugano, first time for both of us, delicious food and hospitality, a pleasant discovery in which to celebrate our wedding anniversary!
