my husband and I stumbled upon this restaurant during our cruise stop. It was a little difficult to communicate since only one person spoke English but the food we had was excellent. I had the steak tar tar with french fries and it was tasty. We sat outdoor, across from the marketplace and there happened to be someone playing music across the street, which made it more pleasant.
What delicious food! I had the lovely Plat du Jour: cod with aioli with cooked vegetables. Everything was tasty but not so much as to hide the the true flavors of the foods. My friend had a lovely goat cheese tartine flavored with honey. The tourte de blettes is an acquired taste (sweet tart with chard and raisins) but fun to try. Good coffee, too.
Brought up to date by Audrey. Everything is homemade, including the pie crusts and pissaladières. Amazing sweet chard pie, super good. Excellent stuffed meats, pissaladière and aioli Takeaway also at the Forville Market. I recommend this small Provencal restaurant, far from the exorbitant prices of Cannes and bravo for the authenticity!
Remitted to the taste of the day by Audrey. It's all homemade, peat pasta, pealadières too. Amazing tourte with super good sweet blettes. Small stuffed, pealadière and excellent aïoli Forville market also. I recommend this small Provencal restaurant, away from the exhorbitant prices of Cannes and bravo for authenticity! A good little restaurant. Very friendly staff, but there are very few seats inside. On the other hand, they are very friendly with dogs who are welcomed with kindness and care. French-Mediterranean cuisine dishes and excellent savory quiches. Prices in line with the Cannes average.
Excellent and authentic French cuisine sourced from the market right across the street. We were welcomed and given a street side table where we enjoyed for different dishes including escargot, duck, ravioli and fish, all excellent!
