*Updated Rating8/7/2022* My husband and I have been coming for a long time since my first review(2018) and I feel like it's time for an update. I am still in this place as a restaurant and it was one of the few places that remained consistent even after the pandemic. We come for both brunch / dinner a few times a year and have either Charles or David for our servers and both make sure there is a special visit every time. This weekend was amazing with both servers because I celebrated my birthday (the only place I wanted to eat in Ocala) and at both visits our servers were very courteous and made every experience instant. I was so happy with my experience in La Cuisine. The owner was very nice, very gracious. The bartender was excellent; truly he was a mixedologist and so well versed in his craft. The waiter was very attentive and the food was excellent. What a jewel of a place!!! The bar is beautiful. The little hidden rat of Ratatouille was funny to find. Great place; I wish it was closer to my home or I would be a regular!!!
I had the Steak Special. It was cooked and seasoned for perfection. The potatoes and Brussels spears were excellent!! The homemade ice cream was the perfect way to finish the meal cherry with chocolate chips)! Beautiful ambience and friendly staff. I can't wait to go back!
