"Visited 12/04/2015Excellent service, fast and sympathetic. We enjoyed some typically jurassien dishes of meats with cheese and morilles sauces. I've never seen so many morilles in one plate before. Served very promptly despite our lateness, we all had a great time and enjoyed quality dishes and even a crêpe. The vaulted low ceiling and proximity to the "canal des Tanneurs" add to the charm of this excellent restaurant."

We ate here one lunchtime on a day trip to Dole. The weather was good so we ate outside next to the canal - very pleasant. The interior also seemed very nice and characterful. The restaurant specialise in crepes and galettes which they do well - the savoury galettes made a pleasant change from the normal restaurant fare and the sweet crepes were very acceptable. The bad news was that one of our starters was a chilled roulade type and on opening up mould was visible between two layers. There was a full apology from the waiter. The message is - if you go out of season beware that some items may have been sitting round too long. However this would not put us off going here again - but we would c...

Visited here last evening, having found it by accident the day before. We were greeted by a very cheerful and attentive waitress/patroness, who served us very promptly with some fine food and fine wine. I must admit, that had I known the size of the portions, I would not have opted for a three course dinner, two would have been perfect, but hey, I'm on holiday, will just have to have a light breakfast!I'd recommend this restaurant to anyone. One of the best locations for a quality dinner next to the canal away from the hustle and bustle of town centre dining.

We went to the canal area behind Pasteur's house. Most were closed. The Demi Lune was open with umbrellas (shade) or without. We picked the plat du jour and pizza. The plat was a crepe filled with goat cheese, bacon, tomatoes, pesto with a green salad sufficient for two. The pizza was ham and mushroom with great sauce and cheese. The crust was thin and excellent. If only they could make it back home. Other tables had dessert, but we were well satisfied. Desserts were looking fantastic though. There was also lots of tables inside.

Had one of the best meals ever at La Demi Lune, you really must try the flambé Camembert its truly scrummy! The restaurant wasn't really open for customers when we arrived on a ver cold January evening but we were welcomed in and were able to order drinks while we waited for the chef to arrive. The waiter was great, he was learning English and we enjoyed chatting with him, the food was just lovely, quickly prepared, hot and very tasty. Good wine and yummy deserts made it a brilliant night.
