I've been living in St. Julien for 9 years and have eaten there a few times... there was dinner lately and literally went to the toilet after my meal. When I came out of the restroom, I recommended the lady who didn't care about ALL that never happened... without asking and going any further. I have paid because I didn't want to make a mess, but they lost a local client who will never guess this restaurant to everyone and share this very bad experience! The service was also very bad...we waited 10 minutes to literally go for a table to ask them... very bad!!! Not at all!

Solid home-style cooking, the chef does not want to pretend he is more than what you see. The decor is a bit tired and seems to...be still looking for it's identity with a mishmash of different styles and decorations. A good option if you want a solid meal but don't expect anything else.

In an otherwise work-a-day town this was a great restaurant for a family of 5. The "Patron" is an enthusiastic restauranteur who made great efforts to look after us. Terrific steaks, reasonably priced (for "proper resturant food") and very friendly. We had Calvados added to our apple desert in a flourish and generally had a lovely experience on an otherwise wet evening.

The three of us visited here, looking for regional dishes. We were not disappointed by our choice of smoked salmon salad as a starter, then fondue for two of us and tartiflette for the third. Everything was delicious, served by attentive staff and topped... with a complementary glass of Kir everyone. A beautiful experience, well recommended.
Always very good food and wine, claims to be fresh and local produce where possible and tastes authentic, occasionally very nice specials. Very pleasant waiter, the owner is a bit of a pain in the but I suspect it is him that maintains the...high standards of food so you can't have everything!
In Geneva, la Diligeance, when it comes to the game season, is a myth. Everyone ask you if you went there to eat the venison. Well, it was an ok experience, the food is not strickening, and the wine list is just expensive and poor....In general rather overrated,
