the restaurant is cozy, even if we didn't have the most beautiful place (in a kind of niche on the outer ring overlooking the terrace), but the inner circle was quite complete and given covid it was a correct solution. the service was friendly and correct. Fortunately, the tap water was free here, but the price of the royal kirr was much too high and the ricard was cheap with a shower-amuse. We ate well, the nail for us being the smoked trout, the sole meunière and desserts. Good morning. Long drink based on Cognac little drink, you have to look for the alcohols instead of worrying about the amount of ice cubes, the baba with cognac you will have to review the notion of baba, only the cod was really good and in correct quantity, the good but small salmon, the correct beef play, but not made on site in my opinion because on Cognac others offer the same thing without polent. We ate at La Distellerie twice in our stay in Cognac. Great setting within the Hotel, but a very relaxed feel, and a short menu with plenty of choice. Further, there are a number of meal options to enable you to experience more of the food at a reduced price. Staff are attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable. Ambience is very relaxed, but professional. Food is excellent whether from the a la carte or the Continu menu. Loved our meals here, would definitely recommend, and visit again.
This restaurant is a terrific place to come for lunch or dinner if you are in the cognac area or traveling to Bordeaux . The food is delicious and the service impeccable. Loved the wine list too. Located in a beautiful brand new hotel. Well with the visit !

Great place in Cognac in the heart of the city, on high roofs, very high, like these Xaintongeais children who are not naive and yet so nature. We should leave the carentais in place rather than the alert angiophone. But the resto side is deserved 5 stars!
We had only 45 minutes for lunch. Quick service following my request not to leave late. Home meal service etc... everything is perfect as always. Thanks again to you and your teams
