If you love real Italian cooking, La Dolce Vita is a must! We were welcomed with a warm greeting and had excellent service. Thank you Christian! The dinner menu had plenty of choices and they also had some specials of the day. We enjoyed the burrata and prosciutto salad, mushroom risotto, grilled branzino, and veal chop in truffle sauce. This is one of my favorite restaurants in Fort Lauderdale! In the evening, it truly feels like you've been transported to Italy. Everything is fantastic—the atmosphere, the food, the wine list, the service, and the presentation. Fabio and his staff make you feel like family. When my friend and I decided to host a wedding dinner for my niece, there was no other choice but this place. Everything exceeded our expectations and those of our guests. My husband and I are going any chance we get here! Not only is the food absolutely amazing, but it always feels like home to us. The owner is obsessed so that his guests are happy and comfortable. Both owners have a formal training on wine and food, they are both from Italy, so you only get the authentic Italian foods. You have an amazing wine list and will always recommend a pairing with your food. Apart from all that I love most, how I feel when I leave the restaurant. What can you say... these people love food and their customers. How great is it when you read reviews how you cross the Alligator Gasse and your mouthwater while you save through all major comments about the homemade pasta, the truffle dishes, the specials that people only over the entire experience. This team of professionals gets it from the moment I went through the door, I was back in Italy NY. The atmosphere is great, quiet, lower key, beautiful surroundings. The service perfectly, sweet and attentive. And the food....not since the grandmother of my wife's homemade Italian dishes I tasted like that.. This was our first visit, and it was outstanding! It felt like stepping into Nonna's kitchen. Everyone, from the manager to the waitstaff, was incredibly friendly and efficient. The prices were reasonable, which is quite a rarity nowadays. Now, onto the food: fantastic! This is the best pasta I've had in years—don't tell my wife! We all sampled each other's dishes, and there wasn't a single disappointment. Everything was like a taste of culinary paradise. If we could give Dolce Vita ten stars, we absolutely would!
From the moment we walked in, the experience was extremely Italian. The main waiter was hugging and kissing his regulars while making everyone else feel at home. The bread was freshly baked, and the pasta was phenomenal. We had the gnocchi and lasagna, and it was easily the best meal we had while in Florida. Very authentic flavors!!
We have eaten here several times. The staff and owner are amazing! He understands gluten free issues and ALWAYS offers up the best suggestions. His memory of our previous visits are amazing, we feel like family!! You will not be disappointed with every aspect of your experience!!
