La Dolce Vita - Reserva de mesa

We ate here with our two small families we were having a relaxing and tasty meal outside when one of our toddlers cut his head open (absolutely nothing to do with the restaurant he was playing a little way away a trifle too...vigorously, as toddlers do). The restaurant helped us immediately and called emergency services which arrived within minutes, helped us get to a hospital, and packed up our meals (and gave the people who didn't rush to the hospital a welcome drink on the house). The food (eaten much later that night, with a toddler's stitched head sleeping soundly in the next room) was fine and would have no doubt been better freshly cooked. The service was impeccable and truly helpful...

Our experience at La Dolce Vita was that the food was excellent, we enjoyed it very much and very pleasant to sit outside in the evening. However, the first (young) waiter was very rude, we are English and speak no German, that does not mean...staff need to be rude. Another waiter, a little older was much more accomodating and we thank him for his politeness. We do not expect all other nationalities to automatically speak English, what is expected is manners and a agreement to try and be pleasant, that does not cost anything. Thank you for the food and thank you for the second waiter, you were very polite.

The food looked very good walking by so we stopped. The waiter was perfect, appreciating us trying a bit of German but also understood our English. He didn’t keep bothering us but still made sure we were ok and didn’t need anything extra. The food...was superb!! Spaghetti fruits de Mar and tagliatelle salmon which were both cooked very well and came to the table hot. All other meals going to the tables looked excellent too. After we tried to find somewhere for our evening meal at our first night in a joyful city, we went to this restaurant as it looked pleasant and sitting on a pedestrian street with outside. it was full, but the waiter told us to wait and we should. soon a table. within 5 minutes we were set and taken care of. very pleasant experience. great authentic Italian cuisine. a great place. We were 2 adults and 2 children. we wanted four different dishes. they were all good. it is clear that the ingredients are fresh and of good quality. the personal is very friendly. we were happy to find this place after some disappointments. from other recommended places in the opposite of this, is one that finally recommend!

pizza is almost Italia-thin, huge pasta menu, real Italian cuisine. the menu is also available in English. fair to expensive trips (not over price.) good decoration, big wine card. it lacks Italian music. visited and enjoyed twice.

Stopped for a light lunch , simple roquette salad and pizza with 2 coffees. Very helpful , friendly and efficient service , nice clean linen table cloths and and excellent service.

We just had two lovely pizzas with side salads and both were excellent. Service was fine and the location great. We ate outside.

that is by far the best Italian restaurant in freudenstadt. good quality eating and friendly staff. we're coming back!
