La Dolce Vita - Reserva de mesa

We had lunch here. It was a good pizza place and with hindsight I should have gone for a pizza rather than the tuna pasta dish. My husband and daughter had pizzas and I was jealous - they were good, thin based and tasty. My pasta was nice but a bit bland and tasted very much like the sort of thing I would make for myself as a weeknight dinner at home. I had a home made chocolate mousse for dessert which was lovely though. Not sure what it is like at night - it is quite small and I suspect booking might be needed in high season. It is a good place to take kids. Reasonably priced as well.

Given the amount of tempting restaurants in Benodet we decided that after the first visit where the service was excellent, the food delicious (especially the pizzas and the seafood pasta) that we would eat there on two out of our three nights. The proprietor (Artura)? was exceedingly welcoming and on returning later on in the evening made us feel very welcome.

It was recommended to visit one of our hosts. We went a night without booking. There were no places, but luckily they had a table for 4. The staff was polite enough and the service was fast. The prices were decent and the food was very delicious. The kids had pizza that was delicious and massive. Would visit Defo again.

Children's menu was reasonable; pizza or spaghetti, any soft drink and icecream with lolly for €8.50 Lasagne was tasty but obviously microwaved as heat distribution uneven. Ravioli dishes very nice and incredibly filling. The staff were helpful and understanding when we broke a glass.

We had a good lunch today and my wife followed the waiter's tariffs to have the 2 course meals of the day. Well presented, nicely cooked and cheap. Merry staff to make my recommendations.

We ate out here on Friday night just after 7 pm when opened and soon it was full. Pizza's are huge and tasty. We also got take out form it a couple of times.

Poor! Cold overcooked pasta bolognese. Very thin puzza bases like poppadoms.
