My husband and I visited this little gem twice. We were staying in the area and heard the happy music and decided to stop for a coffee and some breakfast. First visit we had some fresh, just out of the oven homemade muffins. They were huge and so delicious. The owners were very friendly and spoke both French and English. We sat at the open window bar and enjoyed our lovely meal overlooking the port and watching the world go by. This is obviously a spot for locals as well. They also offer toast and bagels, but we didn't see them on any menu board, but others were enjoying them, so just ask. Second visit was for an afternoon espresso, and that didn't disappoint either.
We were lucky enough to find La Dominicaine in Quebec City by circumstance. We rented the apartment next door and were early for check-in. The cafe was just opening, in fact we were 20 minutes early for the cafe as well, but received a welcome and great coffee - latte. Since the initial breakfast we have eaten there twice and had coffee each morning. Literally everything on the short menu is delicious - try the empanadas, soups and flat breads. The cafe is quite small and there may be wait but just join another table and make a new friend. We met Paul - a local artist and that made our delicious lunch even better. Great little gem just outside the walled old city.
We also offer a wide range of dishes, such as soup and sushi. I've been a chicken skewers and I've been delicious What is Banana? The menu is delicious, and you can see the menu that you don't have. It's delicious and it's so delicious. The staff are also friendly and the shop is also good. What is the skull? It is good and recommended
We wanted something quick and not expensive in Quebec City and wandered into this charming little restaurant. Food came fast, place was lively, friendly, down to earth. no pretenses. There are a lot of choices in the old city, but most are tourist traps. This one felt authentic and was a lucky find.

We stopped into this cafe for brownies and coffee after touring Upper Town and making our way down through the streets of Lower Town. Wonderful vibe, best brownie we'd ever sampled and HONEST. I left my purse by accident and they kept it safe and sound until I realized it was there an hour later.
for breakfast or a quick lunch, this is the perfect place in the old-fashioned quebec. First of all, a smiley welcome, it puts an appetite! Coffee and croissants, I love!A sandwich on the thumb or a good bowl of hot chili, miam!
It's the nicest diner in quebec. we eat well, the reception is remarkable and the latino music is training. I recommend the Chilean house...exquisite! The coffee is also great! a visit to repeat.
...(chicken/emphasis). all at a reasonable price. good location at the harbour (one manko: the view from the open window goes to a parking lot).
