La Esquina Del Carmen

I was in Prado for a day and met some friends at the Carmen in the afternoon for drinks and some food. And the previous reviewer was right. The hospitality was wonderful, and the tapas kept on coming. Squid, chicen, it was all so good and sizable portions too. We ate a lot of food that day and it was all topped off with a nice shot of liquor! Now I know why people like this place so much.

Esquina del Carmen is my favorite restaurant in Prado del Rey. I have been coming here for 12 years. The food is typically Andalucian, bocorones, chicken, sardines, patatas bravas, ensaladilla all delicious! And a mollete for breakfast with olive oil and tomato is a must!

Visiting Prado del Rey and not to have a meal or even a simple coffe there is like not to see anything! Amusing athmosphere combining with the friendly service and the tasty food or the typical snacks brings the visitors and local people to spend every evening by Manolo!

We love Manolo and his sequin. Great home cooked meals. Extra nice people. Clean. Ate their every single day of our trip. Never saw a man work harder.

The menu looked pretty standard. Nice location in town. Had large baguettes for lunch pretty basic but fresh. Thought they were alittle over priced.
