La Explanada - Reservar una mesa

After a day of driving we arrived in Alange to stay over for the night. Walking around in the village we decided to have a drink and something to eat at Bar La Explanada. It was not a good choice. The wine was ok, but the ‘lomo con agillo’ was just cold tasteless sirloin piled on top of tasteless french fries soaked in sirloin drip off. The other dish we ordered was ‘penchuga with salad and fries. This was just a bit better, but far from good and the fact that the dog of the owners was begging for my chicken breast all the time did not improve the situation. The lomo was returned to the kitchen and although it came back hotter than the first time, my girlfriend refushed to eat it. The bill did not include the lomo which was good! It was a dsappointing experience

2 small beers and olives and watching the world go by. Missed the tapas as we were late but will try again sometime.
