My Luchon friend recommended this place during our week-long ski trip to Luchon and it was one of the highlights of our many dinners that week. It's a warm, convivial atmosphere...like walking into a rustic mountain chalet, wooden log cabin or grandma's kitchen. L'ambiance de ce restaurant est vraiment convivial, une décoration typique bien travaillée et un accueil sympathique. Mais malgré une bonne entrée en matière et des petites attentions: apéritif et potage servis d'office, les plats sont très décevants. Les plats principaux sont des grillades, assez mal servies: faible quantité et aucun accompagnement excepté un plat de pomme de terre rissolées, extrêmement gras. Donc l'un dans l'autre (menu à partir de 27€ entrée/plat) le rapport qualité n'est pas terrible...
En effet ça fait des années que j'y viens et c'est vraiment sympa on y va pour le côté authentique montagnard et on est pas déçu ce qui est dommage c est les détails dans la décoration qui dans l ensemble très sympa mais aie aie les détails nappes horribles, verres d un autre temps qui sont là depuis des années , c est une équipe jeudi deux trois petits détails pour tout changer!!!!!! Mais je le redit on est pas déçu c'est bon
as we are local in the ferme d’espiau, we often visit. the restaurant is original with typical mountain decoration and the staff are always friendly helpful. the menu is traditional mountain food with many grilled meat, local cheese and a hearty, free suppe. the foie gras is well known and outstanding. the restuarant is employed in the rule, so would strongly recommend booking in advance.

a formula(s) that has proven its(their) for years. But it seems to begin to breathe. The accustomed will begin to try to find the impressions of old (?) even if the new ones will probably continue to be surprised by a frame, a service and menus that surprise pleasantly.
Take the top. Quick service, with very pleasant staff, in small care. The restaurant mascot is too cute (the dog) and remains discreet. The view from the terrace is beautiful. Good price ratio honest. If we have the opportunity, we will return.
Un restaurant authentique proposant des classiques français.Le premier menu est à 20€ : tout simplement remarquable (salade truite/boudin/tarte myrtille), cuisiné divinement !Avec un kir et une soupe offerts.
Very good address, super white snow atmosphere and the seven dwarfs, good restaurant, good value quality prices and dogs accepted : to recommend !
