has our arrival, three tables erected on the terrace...with breathtaking views. Feeling to pass the door of paradise. very good reception, friendly and discreet. quality meals with special attention to the quality of the products. the potato doughs with a touch of cumin are original and simply delicious.... crunchy outside, tender to heart and especially without fat. In summary to recommend, the sweet price is the cherry on the cake.
luckily, we fell to the hotel on a flyer offering the famous "rankalu" formula. to do absolutely, either day or night. we chose to do it day by day on Sunday, February 21, sunny to enjoy the beautiful landscapes that this hike offers. ready for snowshoes, sticks and sled (ah this sled the total burst!). meal side is just huummmm!!! my taste buds remember it again. Thanks to the carine and mitch. Keep going.
without snow, was able to access only a quarter of an hour walk at the restaurant. a planes ordered a croziflette, it was delicious, watered from local beer, with the homemade brown cake. the charming welcome, despite the rustic installation, the beautiful landscape, the walk to the top at the foot of the cross with a 360° view, the pure air is there to spend a very pleasant day with family or friends.
It's a little sport to get to the table, 1h20 to climb into the snow with the sleds, and yes, you have to think of going down...but it's nice and vivifying. We have chosen a fondue accompanied by charcuterie, very well to prepare the descent. friendly welcome,simple and warm.The clear night facilitated the descent in the sled, all this to spend a good time with family. at the end of the world and only in the world, on a breathtaking sunset panorama, we ate a very good fondue in a friendly atmosphere to wish! the small approach walk (10 minutes) is ideal to open the appetite to go and initiate the digestion to return!Flicitations to the boss to work with such a result in difficult technical conditions!
It made it very good to find this small mountain refuge restaurant by another beautiful day of powder snowshoes! :o)This year, the croziflette is devastated for all the gourmets of the beating. the happiness of the taste buds also, to regain the flavour of the potato doughs. huummm ... it will be very long to wait next year!!!
a fondue and a perfect tatif for a small group of 7, famous local beers, good products and attention to satisfy the visitors, very beautiful evening, to do and redo, in snowshoes, in sledge, in rando ski. small preference for the option diner and then redescent in sled: rare see nonexistent in high savoy.

Don't hesitate...if you pass next to the danay hostel you have to enter. the welcome is warm and the delicious cuisine. the view of the mountains make forget the simple comfort.
