Started eating here in 1980 when they were on Austin Hwy. Excellent hot sauce!! Known for being healthy texmex, with vegetarian options. Incredible puffy taco's and guacamole. The tortilla soup is also top notch. No bar, but beer is available. Roger, the owner's son used to wait on us and now runs the Austin location with full bar. They used to give complementary fresh fruit sorbet for dessert. The carne sauce on the enchiladas is some of the best too y'all.

The staff is usually very polite. There can be a language barrier from time to time, but that doesn't stop them from helping you out. The food is great and their salsa is absolutely delicious. I will say that their taco salad is a misleading title since there is absolutely no tortilla element to it at all.
