La Flambee - Reservar una mesa

We stayed one night at La Flambee hotel and had booked for dinner in their restaurant. We were shown to a table for 2 and both thought the layout and ambience were good. I told the waiter I was Coeliac and needed glutenfree food. (I...had told the hotel this in advance) I checked my choices with the waiter and he said they were both GF. A different waiter brought my starter and I checked again. He said he thought not and took it away. My husband then had to wait for me to get a different starter. When the main course arrived, lamb brioche, my husband had the sauce but i didn't. I wasn't told i would have to have it without sauce. We both thought the lamb was tough. We noticed the restaurant manager visiting various tables, but not ours. We asked him to come over. There was no apology and no adjustment to the bill, which would have been nice. The wine was expensive and even a pichet was over 30 euros.

I went twice to this restaurant, as a couple and with my family. Each time we enjoyed the food and the wines (the card is limited for a restaurant located close to the Burgundy wine area but ok). My main concern was the service which...was very poor the two times: we waited a long time to get our orders taken, wine wasn’t served (the guy just opened the bottle and put it on the table), plates didn’t arrive at the same time so the firsts served were eating cold, no eye contact with the waiters... It’s really a pity because the quality of the food deserves a better service.

This family-run restaurant attached to the hotel is a treasure to discover. The menu offers a great range of the region's fare with a very good wine menu to match. I highly recommend any dish, you won't be disappointed. The meat is cooked over an...open flame right in the dining area giving a tantalising aroma while you wait. As a restaurant on the outskirts of Dijon, it is surprisingly well patronised. The service is attentive and friendly and yes! They do speak English so are able to assist with choices. I highly recommend.

The Restaurant is a charming rustic place with an open fire where the meat and other nice stuff is prepared. The service is very friendly and english speaking. In total it was a nice and delicious evening with local kitchen.

hotel was good and the adjacent restaurant had a great atmosphere and meat cooked over an open fire. rinding time was excellent
