La Flambee - Reservar una mesa

Husband and I stopped here for lunch after walking along the coastal path. We were served by a fabulous waiter (Constantin? who declared it was his first day. He was incredibly tolerant of my poor attempts to order in French. His English was superb and he took our order with many smiles and checking it was what we wanted. I ordered the Buddha bowl with two fish (Duo poisson my husband had the vegetarian Buddha bowl. Both were lovely, fresh and filling. With drinks our order came to €39 and I felt it was good value. I liked the way you could scan the bar code and see the menu. Good for non native speakers to work out what they want before having to order.

A table was refused because I was single. Totally scandalous. Had to wait 15 minutes, while the waitress was chatting to be told no place for singles . When I protested, I got told welcome in France . Will definitely not come here with the rest of the family. Totally disrespectful and rude. I was served by the restaurant at the corner. They also take singles. Personnel here has such a bad attitude that I hope the place closes down sooner rather than later.

Good lunch with friendly staff. Wife started trying in French. Waiter let her work at this for a fair while then cracked a grin and spoke perfect English. Decent value. Nice location. Pizzas and crepes very tasty.

Good spot on the quayside with friendly service, good crêpes and a wide range of beers. In the afternoon however (September) the outside tables have lost the sun.

Friendly service, great food and nice atmosphere : Sea food was great and nice view at the sea side. Also good for families.
