La Fonda Paisa - Reservar una mesa

La Fonda Paisa offers the finest Colombian cuisine in the area. Their arepa with carne y queso is exceptional, and they serve flavorful, juicy chorizos—nothing like the dry ones you find at other restaurants. They also have some delicious spicy sauces that I highly recommend getting a couple of. In addition to being a restaurant, it's also a mini-mart and has a gift shop where you can purchase Colombian memorabilia. There is paid parallel parking available nearby, but there are also local options.

This place offers some decent soup, but the rest of the food is quite disappointing. I want to make it clear that this isn't truly Colombian cuisine. The empanadas are reheated, the arepas are dry and hard to eat, and the chicharrón is also dry and lacking flavor. Overall, it was a very negative experience. The only redeeming quality of this place is the market within the location where you can find some unique Colombian treats.

This charming Colombian market offers delicious Colombian cuisine and freshly made pastries. Our favorites include the aritopi, taco rolls, and empanadas. The staff here is wonderful too!
