The food was extremely disappointing. The place might have been understaffed. We had terrible service. Everything took a long time to arrive at the table and any additions that we wanted to order (i.e. a 2nd round of drinks, more water, condiments, etc. fell on deaf ears. Finally the place had terrible ventilation yes it's a lot of cooked cheese but we left with our clothes stinking like the cheese for the next several days. It was hot and they wouldn't open up a window or anything. Would never go here again.
After a day of hurtling down the valley, you come here to send yourself a fondue, I had it with cider to continue what I had as an aperitif but you have something for everyone, matured Beaufort, with porcini mushrooms , real cheese from the cellar Price per person: €20–30 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 3 Recommended dishes: La Fondue
If I could I would give 6 stars, very very well received, very good atmosphere and very good cuisine. I would happily come back! I absolutely recommend! love this little tradition French mountain restaurant! eating is amazing and the young waitresses are beautiful! very good compared to some of the other restaurants in the city. must book in advance to get in, we saw that so many families were turned away. they will not be disappointed here! highly recommended!
