For a variety of reasons we were probably the worst customers any restaurant could ever have. Yet, through it all the restaurant's top priority was making sure we were having a good time. Here's what happened: We're traveling on a private boat and wanted to dine at the restaurant and get back to the boat before dark. Thus, we showed up at the restaurant before they were open, but they seated us anyhow. And, because we had dogs on the boat and they needed a walk we brought our two dogs. Unfortunately, our dogs, and the restaurant dog didn't mix well, and our dogs had to be held throughout the meal in order to avoid their screaming. We (mixed gender couple) very much enjoyed having lunch and dinner at La Fourmi on the Ile du Levant. In addition to the quality of the food and of the service already remarked on by many others, we especially liked the fact that at La Fourmi it is possible, not unusual, and even encouraged by the owners to remain nude, as is appropriate on a naturist island. During lunch, many people remained nude; at dinner time, we and one other (gay) couple were the only completely nudes, but the dress code ranged from us via see-thru and quite sexy dresses to fully clothed. This is a really fun place to eat, but do not be deceived, the cuisine is excellent. The menu is constantly changing and offers a variety of French dishes, including classic meat and fish, often with a small twist which adds variety and excitement. The staff are welcoming and fun and the service is good. The restaurant itself is well-appointed and it is possible to eat inside or outside in gentle shade. The sun terrace is superb for aperitifs. The wine list is comprehensive, with local and other wines.

We didn't even know this restaurant existed until friends mentioned it, but what a find! After being shown to our table, we were invited to their sun terrace for an aperitif which was white rum, lemon, lime and cane sugar with ice, lovely! The meal went very well, everything was just right. The marinated peppers with anchovies was particularly good. take a cocktail (very good) on the restaurant's high terrace and admire the sunset. then go down to the dining terrace. (a tip book in advance to be sure to have a table.) in excellent fish soup with its plate of rusty rapped garlic crusts. Perfect salmon tartar. Second visit in a week but this time things got tough because we chosed a Sea bream that was nothing to speak of, well cooked well presented but the taste.. Moreover the service was chaotic maybe because there were 2 big tables to serve, we waited so long that we didn't arrive st the dessert, won't come back for sure

Had a very nice lunch and felt very welcome. Eventhough we were too early for lunch and the staf was still enjoying theirs, we directly got seated. We loved the marmite de pecheurs we chose for lunch. Try the homemade vin de pomplemous as apperatif.

The kitchen is an art and this restaurant proves it. beautiful and good at a time. nice presentation, good atmosphere. The blue lobster is to be recommended as well as the beef tendencies with both fat and truffle sauce. Reserva una mesa ahora

This is for us one of the top restaurants at Ile du Levant. Good food, acceptable prices and very friendly service. The service should be an example for French restaurants in general. Love to go there.
