We came to town about 5 o'clock in the evening. We went this place becauae it looks like comfortable. Menu isn't offefed this time and only warm food was lasagne. That's not a problem because lasagne was very good.Later in the evening we came this place again some drinks and we spent very lovely evening here. I drank some bier and my wife took a glass of white vine and both were very reasonable prize.Late in the evening I had a little hungry and I asked can I get some snacks because I weren't starving. I got very good pizzabread what was exactly good for my needs.The owners dog was too very funny. It walking around and was very calm.
Firstly, let me say that we have visited La Fringale in previous years and enjoyed the food and service was good. However, when we visited this August, we found the service was rank rotten!We arrived and asked for a table for two, which the waitress showed us to. She then provided tables and menues to other diners who arrived after us. When she started taking their orders, we complained as she hadn't even brought us a menu. After twenty minutes we up and left. when we told her we were leaving and why, all we got was a shrug of the shoulders. We will not be back to this restaurant again when we are in this area.
We had lunch at this restaurant yesterday - the location is in the center of the small pedestrian area of Les Salles. Very simple with free wifi and a warm and quick service. The hamburgers were home made serviced in a very good bread, with fries and salad. I had a chicken salad that was good and rich - my daughter had a dish of lasagne win salad, good despite different from the real Italian - suggest for lunch and quick meal -
Really good food here. Tasty and fresh. However the waitress was bored and rude. When I pointed out that there were dead ants in the icecream stand which was part of the kids menu, she didn't care or apologise and said it was the fault of the weather!! No credit cards taken either. Go if you can cope with bad service as good value good food.
