We visited last Friday lunchtime, not Easter bank holiday to be clear],however they said 'its a festival day '....err no its not ! ' and so there is only the a la carte menu '...no set menu. If you believe that you should be ripped off,as it wasn 't a bank holiday at all.It was purely a con for trying to take money from the unknowing tourist. I have been before and they knew, when I challenged them to say,it was not a festival day bank holiday],but they said no set menu a la carte only....so thats why it was quiet!!! I only hope it stayed that way, they deserve what they get,and I won 't be returning any time soon. There are so many other places to go all of which did have a set menu on offer....strange as it was a so called festival day. These guys were just out to rip off any tourist they could with an over priced, poor quality food menu. Go down the road a bit further towards San Juan there are many places to choose from all with a sea view......similar menus and all available...small minded of these guys who do not deserve the business.

Visited this beachside restaurant while looking at property in the area. They have a menu of the day,4 course with a very wide choice. I had piallia starter, calamarie with home cut chips main course, creme brulie dessert and coffee to finish. It was one of the best meals I have for a long time, the calamarie was perfect, soft and tasty in a light batter and all for 10€.we went back again and had the same experience, with an inexpensive bottle of wine but be warned it is very busy and very little English is spoken.

It was the start of Semana Santa, the place was packed, it was hectic, the staff were busy but great, the sun was shining, the paella was excellent. La Frontera has atmosphere, great food, a chilled vibe and spectacular views. One of our favourites in the area. If you don't want to eat, its also great to call in for a drink. A bit of real Spain.

menu of the day 11 euros includes pan, drink and coffee along the three courses, plenty of choice and very quick service, tends to get occupied as is well known even though off the beaten track.
