We had a wonderful lunch on slope in this wonderful restaurant. The service is excellent, very friendly staff. The food is great. We had a rib eye for two people with salad, mashed potatoes, and it was perfect. the meat was a very high quality, nice serving. the entrecote was also wonderful. the prices are quite high but that what you get used to good food on slopes is always pricey. next to La Fruitiere is La follie Douce. It is a bar/restaurant full of people, fun, and entertainment that is why we chose the calmer option for food, and to eat, and just watched and enjoyed the blast we saw next door as the terrace is connected. The wine by glass I do not recommend.

We ate here in order to soak up the Folie Douces fun as it gathered momentum for the afternoon. Warm welcome, allowed to change table quickly as beneath a speaker (come here if you enjoy the show and music! food arrived promptly, staff are quick to notice and respond. My duck confit under mash I can't remember the French title was moist and flavoursome, likewise the braised lamb. Our kids wolfed down the burger and linguine. Yes its expensive, but the whole mountain is. The Folie Douces is good thumping fun. Think what you like... everyone enjoys it, and there were multiple generations doing plenty of arm waving and fist pumping.

Première fois à la fruitière. Un accueil chaleureux, un service de qualité (serveurs polis et avenants). Mais le plat que j’ai mangé n’était pas à la hauteur. C’est vraiment dommage pour un simple burger à 34€… Le bun était sec, froid et ne tenait pas sur la viande et garnitures.. Un petit supplément de sauce fromagère a été bénéfique pour faire passer tout ça.. Les frites pas terribles non plus. En revanche, les pâtes bolognaises et le dessert prévu dans le menu de ma fille étaient bien servis et bons! Je ne pense pas y retourner malgré cadre agréable et calme à l’intérieur.

1 star is too good. We ordered a starter to share between 3 of us. It was minuscule and eye wateringly expensive €39 ! We sent it back. Meanwhile we sat around swarmed by giant flies. The gnocchi was bland and didn't have all the ingredients advertised. If it was actually home made I would be astonished [the chef should find another job]. The Risotto was ok but a stupid price. The fish and chips a joke [the chips were ok]. The waiter then asked us if we wanted to add a tip. What a chancer. Dont forget service is included in France. Reserva una mesa ahora

Went with a group of well heeled friends and even they thought it was a rip off. Truffle Tagliatelle smelt of bleach!! Waiters were attractive but useless. Took 30 mins to get a drink. Sat next to the show going on at the Fole Douce. This consisted of 50 nightclub drunk European teenagers dancing on tables to a below average DJ and live singer. There was also a live sax player but he fell off a table and knocked over lots of drinks so left the party. It 's trying too hard to be cool which, by definition... is not cool. Sling it.

Well, what to say.... trendy waiters but unfortunately not really fit for a restaurant. 10 minutes waiting at a table and no one came to ask us what we would like drink or maybe give us the menu (that’s what a restaurant is meant to be or do right! . And unfortunately we did not get the chance to taste the dishes as we decided to walk away... but my guess, they just don’t care as much as having a tidy barb and a pair of trendy sunglasses. I would understand if it was a very busy time of the day but it was rather quiet.

I'm used to going in winter, this year two visits, but I don't think I'm going to go back this winter. César salad with carrots, panais and celery rave in short nothing to see a classic caesar salad. The gourmet coffee doesn't make you dream for the price. The chicken to share is very good on the other hand, but the accompanying vegetables were much better before. the chief must have changed, but not the card in any case we feel the changes.

it wasnt even as if they were too cool for school it was like they had been trafficed against their will and were disgusted with themsleves for doing it. The DJ looked like a pimp. All very odd. Music Ok but heard tonnes better before and never really got the crowd going TOTALLY over priced but that was expected needs to up its game. The staff need some training and to show that they care. Food ok but prices frankly ludicrous even for expensive Megeve. ambience in the off season a joke. We didn't really need the bar dancers when only my family and one other table having lunch inside.
