La Gallega De Roses

The gambas alioli were excellent. My hake was really tasty. The decor is a master piece of shell work. The service was very pleasant. One girl had good English. The white wine is from the area and is savaungion Blanc. It was delicious even though I'm a red wine drinker. Two doors up is a sister restaurant where we went the following night. The dorada was first class but my entrcote was a disaster! The red house wine is good. The wine Rueda was supeb!

Chorizo is cider was gorgeous as we're the Patatas bravas, however they were only served with aioli as oppose to the tomato sauce version which I have had before. The Gambas in aioli was amazing, although at €12 they were on the expensive side. Especially when the Patatas bravas and chorizo were only €5.50 each. My only gripe was my partners wine had several midgy flies in it. We think from the glass. Will still visit again.

Very good food, specially the chipirones a la andaluza . Went there two days in a row! The staff were also really nice and friendly!

We are spending a few days in Roses and we are delighted to discover this restaurant with good tapas and a good atmosphere.
