La Ginestra - Reservar una mesa

I miss this place. My parents started here regularly in the mid-1980s before I was born. They often brought me here while I grew up, and until today I've never found a better pizza. The family it belongs are all beautiful people. When the original owner passed the restaurant to his son, it was so amazing that he maintained the tradition and changed nothing. Even the bright Harlequins in the bar were there forever. I just remembered how good this place is and told my husband everything about it, and my mouth watered the thoughts. Too bad I live 500 miles away, otherwise I would go there tonight.

Very attentive service and good advice from Paolo. Specials were seasonally appropriate and delicious. Orecchiette Pugliese, on the full-time menu, was great. Best cheesecake I have had in years. I was taking a break from alcohol when I went, but the wine list looked full of gems at all price points, and the bartender sounded like he knew what he was doing. I?ll have to go back to take advantage of both soon.

We ordered Eggplant Parmesan and veggie pizza. Food was anything but authentic Italian..quite bland. Veggies were fresh but neither dish had much flavor.

I came here all my life. Great food, wonderful people, great wine selection. Homemade pastas and desserts.

No bad meal here. Wasn't here for years and wasn't disappointed! It'll be more often!!
