Whoa! I guess that not having a Catalan appetite has restricted my views on this otherwise excellent restaurant . I ordered a starter of bread with tomato a regular appearance on Catalan resterau menus- the plate duly arrived, the size of a dustbin lid,...along with loads of slices of ham, salad, pickles etc. I'm used to a saucer-sized plate with just the tasty bread tomato on it. The main meals were similarly sized, too. Everything was really delicious, well presented by great staff. I guess the portion control is probably what most obese Americans now, increasingly, UK folk) polish off with gusto. The ambience is great, Pricing was really good, around euro for courses a shared litre of goo...

We try to come at least once per year to La Grange, especially in winter when the cold weather and the snow outside make La Grange wooden interior a lovely and warm place to have dinner. Terrace is under cover in winter and it is...nice to be there but you still suffer people opening the door. Best place to stay is the main saloon despite it is the smallest one. If you are a gang probably the first floor is the more convenient. Be ready to enjoy exquisite French cheese classics: fondue, tartiflette, raclette,... All excellent. Also consider to save some space for their great desserts. During high season is quite recommended to book well in advance. Totally recommended. Illustration: dinner m...

We have eaten here with our children in summer and winter always in the evening. We've also done afternoon gouter for crepes when our children were under It has a cosy atmosphere, as the tables are quite close, so you are forced...to say hello to your neighbours as you install yourself at your table (something we love about France). There is a wide variety of choice on the menu. All our food was good and cooked as we had requested. Service was good they were extremely busy both times we ate here, but we didn't feel we suffered as a result. During the school holidays particularly in winter, booking is essential.

Really nice spot welcoming and pleasant staff. Hearty well cooked fare perfect if coming off the slopes. Portions, of very tasty food, generous. It is the sort of place you want to find and then will want to keep returning to which...I will. I went out of school holidays where it was busy but not packed I would imagine it gets busy in the school holidays. Really recommend.
