Why do restaurant staff, who've provided a perfectly fine meal, then conscientiously ignore you when you want to pay the bill and leave? This happened at La Grange recently. We'd eaten there in 2010 and again in 2012 and enjoyed both the relaxed family atmosphere and the food, which was refreshingly different to that served by many restaurants along the canal. Ignoring us at the end of our recent meal took the edge off a positive dining experience

Acceuil très agréable. Menu à 35 ou 55 euros. Possible à la carte. Bonne carte des vins. Plats avec quantité suffisante et bien présenté. Manque peut-être de renouvellement. Stationnement facile parking à proximité. Mieux vaux réserver.

The guests are very welcoming and we can see the chief in the room. Adding a terrace recently which adds to the conviviality of the place.The dishes are tasty. Go without hesitation.
Very good reception. Everyone is very kind and takes time. The dishes have been very copied is good. Even my 6-year-old girl didn't crawl for the child menu while it's hard.
