When we visited wine caves in the area, we called for a reservation for lunch and although they usually offered only in the evening to eat lunch when it was not about a slow service as it was itself. We had Escargot and various salads that were reasonably expensive and delicious. For two people they do different fondus. The Kirs were excellent, they vary a lot depending on which wine they use with the Cassis. We had local wine on the glass that was very drinkable and not expensive. Woman and her helpers were super friendly and made this a beautiful memory of a local restaurant, not at all pretentious, but authentic French.
