This was my first experience with Mexican food, and I’m pleased to say that I didn't feel overwhelmed by excessive salt. The portion sizes were generous and well-seasoned. I tried the La Gringa original taco dinner, which includes two tacos filled with your choice of chicken, steak, or beef, along with salad, tomatoes, pico de gallo, and sour cream. All taco dinners come with rice and beans on the side for $10.95. As a starter, you receive chips and salsa. I recommend trying the authentic Mexican apple soda—it’s a fantastic choice, especially for college students, as there’s a fully stocked bar as well. I absolutely love this restaurant! My first visit was for dinner with a friend, and both the food and drinks were outstanding. I ordered a straightforward dish—a Mexican burger—which is perfect for any time of day, except perhaps breakfast. Considering how delicious the burger was, I'm excited to try more of their culinary offerings. The staff was fantastic, the atmosphere was relaxed, and the frozen drinks, especially the margaritas, were out of this world. A friend of mine lives nearby and recommended that I give this place a try, and I think I may have just found my new favorite restaurant. The steak a la Mexicana was absolutely delicious, and the portion sizes are generous, so you really get your money's worth. The atmosphere is lovely, and the staff is both friendly and welcoming. Finding good Mexican food in New York can be challenging, but this spot really hits the mark. I highly recommend checking it out!
I've been to La Gringa Mexican Bar Grill on several occasions, and I have to say that the culinary experience with them was simply delicious. The staff is so friendly and accommodating, that you just can't complain about a single thing while enjoying the fresh food and the beautiful location.
I could write on and on about why this place is so good. This is definitely one of our favorite spots to eat when my friends and I go out. The atmosphere is nice and everyone is quite friendly. And Of course, they cook some quality Mexican food. Definitely recommend coming here!
