La Grotta - Reserva de mesa

La Grotta, in my opinion is the best eatery in Eschwege, I must say I've eaten at a number of restaurants here and non are as good. I maybe a little bias as I'm not a lover of heavy creamy or meaty dishes! As always La Grotta never fails to serve fresh food with wonderful specials which I've enjoyed, especially the fresh fish dishes during Johannesfest, which are light and tasty. Only a couple of weeks ago I had a wonderful sumptuous pumpkin soup, simply delicious! Complements to the Chef....If like me you appreciate great wine (my preference is red) have a look at the bottles on the chest when you arrive.And Grappa...oooh I hear you say, well I used to say the same but now I know different....

As Italian I found this place the best ever in Germany...I arrive for case once in this restaurant and officially has been like a second home for all my permanence is Deutschland!plate are massive and really delicious but the real reason for my visit is for the owner Vittoria!she is amazing!has been like a mum during my stay always helpful and ready to give me advice...you can t miss this place!once you go in you will definitely see how the Italian can make you feel like at home!(ask them always for advice of what to eat and drink..you can t go wrong trust me!)

as italian I found this place best in Germany. I arrive for the case once in this restaurant and was officially like a second home for all my permanence is Germany! teller are massive and really tasty, but the real reason for my visit is...for the owner vittoria! she is amazing! was like a mother during my stay always helpful and ready to give me advice. they cannot miss this place! as soon as they go into them will definitely see how the Italians can make them feel like home! (please ask them for advice on what to eat and drink.you can t go wrong trust me.

This is a lovely restaurant which was packed with locals when we arrived. The food was great and typical Italian, the local rose wine was also excellent. The service whilst exceptionally friendly could have been a little more attentive but overall highly recommended. I haven't tried other restaurants in the town but certainly didn't see any that looked like they could compete with La Grotta. Reserva una mesa ahora

the best is to have the restaurant a table a few days before visiting this wonderful restaurant, but it is in fact possible to get a table between the reservations! the building from outside to inside is such a beautiful side! if. the warm-hearted people there, the other guests and the wonderful food, then one is in the sky!

This restaurant should be visited bij anyone who loves the real Italian kitchen, but does not want to pay Michelin-star prices for it. On top of that, there is a very friendly staff who is very helpful in choosing from the huge menu and even alterations are no problem at all. Parking facilities nearby.

My favorite restaurant in Eschwege, one of my favorite Italian restaurants, period. Great pizza, great pasta, great salads. My favorite dish though are the stuffed calamari tubes, filled with shrimp, cheese and herbs. Good wines and great Eschweger beer. Cozy restaurant with friendly staff.

a friendly Italian restaurant. familly friendly staff that actually great care about us, as there is a great delay in our reservation time slot that ended us with almost the half of our bill covered by the owners. really tasteful pasta and pizza. lively but very...busy place
