It seems that there was a party happening downstairs because the floor was shaking and the noise was too loud at times. The food was average at best, and the service was inconsistent. I tried to give the restaurant the benefit of the doubt because it was a local establishment that I wanted to support, but unfortunately, it didn't meet my expectations.
Eating at La Grotta feels like returning home. The owners are very welcoming and the food is always delicious. This time, there were four of us dining. We ordered and enjoyed veal, pasta, steak, and a seafood special. It's definitely worth the trip, although we don't have to go far. Yum!
We've been here before and will always come back! The staff/owners are friendly and helpful. Clams, pasta, veal, specials and the desserts are always great. It happens to be local for us and that's very convenient but I'd certainly drive if I had to, to enjoy their food and hospitality.
This was our first visit to LA Grotta, which we discovered through a Groupon deal (although they did not accept it). Nevertheless, we enjoyed the delicious food and the welcoming, quiet atmosphere that allowed for pleasant conversation. We will definitely be back to dine here again. Reserva una mesa ahora
I dining there last night and food was very good however I received a hot anti-Posto on my table that I did not order I enjoyed it but I was also charge for it before I even made my food order
The food at this restaurant is very much homemade and was served hot and delicious. The servers and the entire staff are professional and attentive.
The food was excellent, the service was outstanding, the atmosphere was fantastic, and the welcome was warm as soon as you walked in the door.

"The restaurant is newly established and was very quiet for Sunday brunch. We were surprised with the good service and quality of the food. The portions were generous and well priced. We found the restaurant through open table as we were in our way to the botanical garden. It was convenient and hope to see them grow their business."
