Booked this restaurant for our anniversary because we would be in Windsor and it came highly recommended.Service was great, wine choice ditto, and the bread with tomatoes and herbs excellent. Then it all went downhill.We had both ordered Caesar salad to start. It came over dressed and aside from the romaine and croutons, which were not homemade, it lacked taste. I asked the waitress for extra Parmesan just so I could soak up some of the homemade dressing.My husband ordered the cannelloni which he said was good but preferred mine and I ordered the spinach fettuccine Alfredo with shrimp. Based on the recommendation of our concierge we went to dinner at this restaurant on a Tuesday night. We had the most delightful server who made some great recommendations from the menu. The food was spectacular. Besides the food and drinks the ambiance of the place was quite charming. It was dark and small and cozy. You felt like you could have been in the Italian countryside. I definitely recommend reservations for a weekend night.

Ambiance is a quaint Italian restaurant that serves delicious Italian fare. Portions are a good size. Service was impeccable. There was live music that added to the event.We visited on a busy Saturday night and although the restaurant was hopping the staff were calm. Will definitely go again, and again!

Have been going here for almost 20 years. The inside has been remodeled from a classic, authentic Italian restaurant to a modern almost contemporary feel. The food has not changed, it is still the best in town.The mussels are to die for, the sauce is addictive. The service is always very good.

If you are headed to windsor and want an amazing italian meal this is the place I consider myself somewhat of a foodie. This place will give you great service an anazing meal and wont break the bank

The food was excellent We were at the casino for a show and they had 50 bus loads of people We decided to walk over for a nice dinner and they did not let us down! Good service also

4 of us went here for supper. Excellent service, excellent food. No need to say more. We had made reservations for 6, but had to change to 4 once we arrived, no problem.
