La Guinguette - Reservar una mesa

Quirky restaurant but on the right-side of quirky. Great home cooked food from local ingredients. The whole atmosphere is very friendly and the place clearly full of friends. I would wholeheartedly recommend, certainly a very slow walk of 3 minutes from the campsite next door! The interior no longer looks like the picture shown here, more welcoming. Small terrace overlooking the montagne, very atmospheric as the weather rolls in...

After a number of other restaurants appeared to be closed, we came across this restaurant. Happily surprised. We got a table straight away. The menu was translated for us via Google. We skipped the starter, but the basque-style chicken and then the French toast tasted excellent. With wine and coffee/tea to finish we came to 46 euros. Oh, and nice jazzy music in the background.

Atypical establishment where you meet beautiful people, starting with the owner, crazy decor, excellent music, hearty traditional cuisine. Nice atmosphere, family service.
