While getting our first house ready to move in, I googled the nearest restaurant. La Hacienda appeared and I proceeded to walk there for lunch. Excellent vegetarian options! I almost always get the incredible Enchiladas Mexicana with cheese. Recently I had the Chiles Rellenos which have a very unique, lighter, tastier batter in an even more unique round shape. Delicious! The fresh guac is top shelf quality. Depending on how much caffeine I've had, I get the horchata which my kids also love. The iced tea is perfect and unsweetened. The outside courtyard seating is amazing in San Carlos weather and the inside seating features booths. The staff and owners are incredibly kind and always cheer up...
la hacienda is a sweet little restaurant serving classic Mexican cuisine in California style. this is the kind of place they used as their local place for Mexican food because the aromen were fantastic! daughters loved their dishes, burrito and quesadilla, and I loved my enchiladas molecular. excellent maul sauce. super friendly staff. good food and salsa. very glad that I found la hacienda and would like to recommend a little jewel as this.
I really love their chips and salsa so I decided to go pick some up to bring home even though I said I would not patronize their business anymore because of the last bad experience. Now I am definitely done. They charge $5.50 for an extremely small bag of chips and two very small salsas. I had to ask if that's all you get for that price! She did give me another bag of chips and only one more small salsa. It's just not worth it.
As authentic as the Mexican food we have had in Mexico. We ordered the garlic shrimp and the sangria. Both were top notch. The chips and salsa, tortilla, meatball soup were all delectable. The patio area is gorgeous. Interiors are humble with Mexican artifacts. There is a free book station at the entrance.

We love La Hacienda. Mario and Amelia put their heart and soul into putting authentic Mexican food onto your table. They'll greet you with a smile and take great care of you. Pro-tip: Love extra spicy salsa? Ask Mario for the good stuff.
The food was incredible and packed with flavor. The staff was exceptionally friendly and attentive. The atmosphere of the restaurant is laid-back and inviting. Overall, it was a fantastic experience, and I highly recommend this place.
I've been ordering takeout from La Hacienda for many years—actually, for decades. The food is delicious and fairly priced. The service is consistently excellent. If you're craving Mexican food, definitely swing by!
Been going here for decades, it's run by a different family but same great results My favorites are the number 1 but with a cheese enchilada or the chimichangas My family, friends and neighbors enjoy it too
