What a fantastic place! We arrived just after 8pm with no reservation and chose our own table. The waiting staff were very friendly and patient taking our order bearing in mind our spoken French is rather limited, but we try! The food was well worth waiting for (just a few minutes) extremely well presented and complimented with fresh fruits and flowers, all freshly prepared straight from the farm. I had the 18 Euro menu generous portions and great flavours. My husband tried the menu Festin 24 Euros again very substantial and beautifully presented. Really loved this place. We arrived at 7.30pm if you want a table overlooking the lovely view you probably need to either book or arrive a bit earlier. Food is fresh, tasty, regional country fare it's not haute cuisine, but I like this kind of food and simple setting (you feel like you're sitting in a barn). On the way in/out of the restaurant you walk through the farm shop which sells much of what you've been eating/drinking fruit, veg, apple juice, wine. Service is friendly, but simple you're pointed out to the restaurant to pick your own table and when you want to pay you go into the farm shop to pay (but that may be because we wanted to pay by card). Les plats sont bons, très généreux, mais il faut faire preuve de patience et compréhension lorsque l’on vient dîner le 15 août. Le personnel est clairement débordé par l’affluence, les clients font la queue pour accéder à leur table, pour être servis, pour régler l’addition, etc… Malgré tout, on aime bien ce restaurant, on compatit avec le personnel qui fait ce qu’il peut, et on encourage toute l’équipe en espérant qu’ils sauront mieux gérer les périodes de grande affluence.
Très bonne cuisine mais malheureusement gâché par un service déplorable et beaucoup trop long et un accueil assez moyen, obligé d'aller chercher nous même du pain nos voisins de table sont allés chercher eux même les cartes car rien après plus d'une heure d'attente. Beaucoup trop de tables installées donc on se retrouve les uns sur les autres obligés de faire bouger tout le monde pour sortir et je ne vous explique même pas le bordel pour les serveurs .

What a great experience! Typical and generous cuisine. The place is really exotic, pretty wooden tables, a pleasant view over a valley. Rustic decors. And on the table, very copious and beautifully presented plates. A well-deserved 5* overall. It is possible to buy local products there, because the family also has its own producers.

What a charming restaurant with a typical decoration and a good fireplace in a cantou that immediately gives a warm atmosphere. The cep omelette, the beef paved, sarladas potatoes and the nut wine were really excellent. The staff was smiling, welcoming and really in small care. We will return with pleasure. I recommend
A large restaurant in an attractive village. Even so you must arrive early or make a reservation it you want the best views overlooking the valley. We went a la carte we had a roast veal salad magret du canard salad which were both excellent with many accompaniments.
