LH is a restaurant that is literally on the other side of the tracks in a poor part of Artesia; however, do not let that deter you! The food is great, and the price is superb, especially compared to the price of New Mexican food in a larger city. I had a combination plate that included a taco, a rolled enchilada, and a chile relleno; with that, beans and rice were included. The cost? $10.50. The taste was super! I have eaten there before, and I've greatly enjoyed everything I've eaten there. Note: On Sundays after church, it's my understanding that the place is packed with locals. We joined our daughter and her family for a late lunch on a Saturday. We did not have to wait for a table. Service was amazing, and the food was delicious. Prices are reasonable too! I ordered a combination plate with green chili. The green chili was meaty, and this green enchilada sauce was one of the BEST I have ever had! I also loved their fresh taco that's on the plate. The taco shell was made fresh on the order. If you have not checked this gem out before, I highly recommend it!
This place is located in a residential neighborhood not a business district. At first I thought my GPS was off. I got here at 1 pm and their were lots of car and trucks) parked outside. Always a good sign. Food was good, authentic. Prices were very reasonable. Service was lovely. Great roadtrip find for me

We dined as a family for the first time, and it was a wonderful experience. The service was excellent and the food was absolutely fantastic. The staff were amazing as well. I will definitely be returning in the near future!
Service is awful. All waitresses are very rude. Would be a great place if the service was decent. Waited for over ten minutes and wasn’t even asked about drinks.
Very good service, food was excellent. Very nice little hole in the wall restaurant that you will want to try.
