Food prices are fair; inexpensive. The food quality is not exactly top notch, but good enough for what you pay. Now the service: many places in this island definitely need a bit more a cosmopolitan touch; if you are local and behave in the same sort “rural” way as them, they see you a bit as someone not only that does not belong, but also that they feel uncomfortable dealing with. Not to mention their knowledge of any other language other than their local dialect, very different from the Spanish from mainland Spain, is nil “nada” . In other words, the cultural shocked is noticeable intense . Either way, just fine if you happen to be in the area and need to fill the craving, I guess....
