What a much improved dining experience since I reviewed some 2 years ago when it had morphed from a good French restaurant into a very average Italian trattoria. I returned with a girlfriend for the set lunch and then again with my husband for Sunday lunch..great service,good food with the original chef back cooking and excellent choice of wines moderately priced.With a super ambience ..what not to like.
Had been here for two times yet very delicious food and a great service for a more then reasonable price. We don’t speak French fluently, but the waiter was very friendly and helpful, we understood all what was important. The food is great and nicely presented. Can definitely recommend the restaurant.
We arrived at little after 7 pm and were seated outside. Good selection on the a la Carte menu. We ordered starter, main and dessert. All were good and the staff very service minded and nice. However, the restaurant was nearly full and so the service was somewhat slow. We left at 10 pm.
The restaurant is drop dead gorgeous, beautiful stone walls, thick wooden beams.. The service is incredible, you are greeted at the door and served like a king. Food was yummy! Great choices for everyone. Honestly, worth the little trip to the Bar sur loup! I highly recommend.
